  NATIONAL EDUCATION DAY On 23rd November,2022 we have celebrated National Education Day with   Dr.T.XavierBeskiArokiyaraj, Associate Professor in English, Aditanar College of Arts and Science, Tiruchendur. That session was a very enlightening to us to get information about education. He shared his school memories and his duties as educator with wonderful words and that makes us get memorable day on our college life. Education is the deliberate and systematic influence, exerted by the mature person upon the immature, through instruction, discipline and harmonious development of physical, intellectual, aesthetic, social and spiritual powers of human being, according to individual and social needs and directed towards the union of the educand with his creator as the final end. This year National Education Day with our chief guest make the session a grand success and memorable.

  Micro Teaching Valedictory Function                 On 19.11.2022,Our College have planned to make our micro teaching session a memorable moment for each and every student by conducting the Valedictory Function. For that our Principal, P. Swamydas sir invited Thiru.K.Ephram,Ma.,MEd.,Headmaster of Arulmigu Senthilandavar Government.Boys.Higher.Sec.School, Thiruchendur,as chief guest for this function. He visited our college and share his experience in teaching field and make us a broad thought about teaching and role of teachers. We have done our micro teaching and get experience about teaching skills and get memorable days of teaching activity. His speech make us to feel glad and make remarkable day on remembering the golden micro teaching days.

MICRO TEACHING  From 6.11.2022 to 19.11.2022 we have engaged ourselves with teaching  practice and that made us to shaped our skills in teaching. In these nine days we have take part in seven skills.  They are,  Skill of stimulus variation Skill of introducing a lesson  Skill of explaining  Skill of reinforcement  Skill of probing questioning Skill of  using black board Skill of closure In micro teaching practice  we have an opportunity to see our own video of teaching to clarify our mistakes and make our skills to develop  our interaction between the students and how to make them interest in listening classes by using  teaching  aid and models. We are separated as nine groups and each group has 12 members and every members have been monitored by one observer and  one timer to control our processing time to make as be alert in timing and in end of our class there comes an overall feedback from our observer to g...

  MY TEACHING EXPERIENCE On 11th November,2022, I have engaged myself in teaching a poem named " Stopping by woods on a snowy evening" by Robert Frost. That day I have shown the model of that poem and explains the summary in details.  The narrator is spell-bounded by the momentary distraction from worldly responsibilities, allowing himself a moment of peace. Being naturalistic to the core, Robert Frost grounds his character in a forest, mesmerized by the snowy evening. The poet mildly indicates the presence of a human close by, albeit in-doors, oblivious to the passerby. Central Idea: Stopping by Woods on Snowy Evening: “Stopping by Woods on Snowy Evening” starts with the style of monologue. The very main idea of this poem is to awake the people who are easily distracted from the purpose of their life.   NATIONAL UNITY DAY                     On 01.11.2022,  We are celebrating National Unity Day in our college.              Unity is essential as it forms the central pillar of our country. Solidarity and unity go hand in hand and we must understand that we will fall to pieces without agreement. United, we are more durable and more immune to front makes resistance worthier. Unity is essential in every aspect of life, and we must do our best to preserve it. "UNITY TO BE REAL MUST STAND THE SEVEREST STRAIN WITHOUT BREAKING"

DIWALI CELEBRATION           On 21 October 2022,          Our college has planned for Diwali celebration.  For that function we have invited Dr. R. THANALAKSHMI, B.Com., M.P.Ed., M.Sc (yoga), M.Phil, Ph. D.   Associate Professor, Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar College of Physical Education, Tiruchendur.  We hearty welcomed her as our college chief guest.  She shares many information about Diwali History, and we are eagerly hears her speech.   A very surprise news to our ears because in our college this was the first Diwali celebration from the college established.  

CREATIVE THINKING FROM DUSTBIN On 20th October,2022, In Pedagogy Classroom, we have engaged ourselves in creative writing things from dustbin. The English language is an arsenal of weapons. If you are going to brandish them without checking to see whether or not they are loaded, you must expect to have them explode in your face from time to time.” ~ Stephen Fry “If my doctor told me I had only six minutes to live, I wouldn’t brood. I’d type a little faster.” ~ Isaac Asimov. There comes various creative thinking from our class friends. That was a good session of interaction and makes us to think creative and innovative ideas.

English Orientation Programme  From 13.10.2022 to 15.10.2022 . Entering into English orientation programme. There are twelve topics. They are as follows: Voice  Degrees of Comparison  Tenses Articles Question Tag Simple, Compound & Complex Direct & Indirect Speech Phrases & clauses Prefix & Suffix Preposition  Kinds of Sentences  Noun In this, we can able to remind our grammar knowledge and basic fundamental usage of grammar and a little test session gives interesting hours.   This grammar class make as to remind and recollect our English usage in writing.

  LIFE SKILL TRAINING  We were now engaged in Life Skill Training Programmes ( 06.10.2022 and 07.10.2022) .
